Three Parks that you HAVE to take your kids to in Stark Co.

Alpine Park

Perfect for ages 2-5 and huge open fields for the older kids to play ball. There is even a skateboard ramp! Bring your volleyball or giant beach ball and get a game going as there is a sand pit and net ready to play in.

A paved path encricles the entire park and you can bring your dog to walk it.

Price Park

📍North Canton, OH 44720

Perfect for ages 2-10! Bring the dog! ⚠ This is a HUGE Pokémon Go stop so you will see lots of people playing the game. If it is community day in Pokemon Go (once a month) Price will be packed! Before Pokemon Go became a thing everyone knew about Price so if you didn't know, you may need to reflect on just not being aware of obvious things. However, Price is hidden to the East of the Belden madness so I can see how people wouldn't know about it. At one time I didn't either and I wasn't a local. I think about how I used to go to Price to feed the geese (you can't anymore) and the fact I willingly went before having children.

After kids occur, parks are an obligation, you HAVE to go even for your own sanity. But what a beautiful obligation, I relax so much at parks even though I know as a parent, I cannot take my eyes off my kids. I still breathe in fresh air and watch them have a great time.

Team Mystic btw.

Mary C. Metzger Park

I've truly save the best for last...All are great but this one is perfect.

This is the most fun park for kids, it needs just a bit more sitting room for parents so bring a chair, but tell your kids they get to play in a castle today and yes they will. On busy days there will be kids running everywhere all over this massive playground equipment so its isn’t a bad idea to bring the spray Neosporin and bandages.

This park isn't very far from Alpine so you can spend the morning at Alpine, get lunch at Tlaquepaque - Oakwood Square on Easton St and then go down to Metzger Park for the afternoon.

Bring a picnic blanket and some grub your kids won’t want to leave.
